This website is operated by Luton and South Bedfordshire Joint Planning Committee (the Joint Committee) to support the statutory planning processes. In particular it will inform about the development of planning policies affecting these areas and be used to collect views about planning policy during phases of public consultation.

Information collected during consultation periods will be analysed by the Councils to incorporate views into the planning process and to identify the demographic profile of respondents. The Joint Committee may appoint third party consultants to assist in this process who will not be permitted to forward the data to other organisations without the express consent of the Joint Committee.

All information collected via this site will be stored by the Joint Committee on servers operated by or on behalf of the Joint Committee.

All information collected via this site will be amalgamated with information collected from other means and kept in some format as required by the Planning & Compulsory Purchase Act 2004.

Under the terms of the Planning & Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 all responses to planning consultations facilitated by this web site (and those supplied from other means) are in the public domain and will be made available for inspection by the Joint Committee.

This site uses 'cookies' to ensure the integrity of transactional processes on our web site. These hold only a sequential session identification number and are deleted at the end of the transaction. In the future, cookies may be used to enhance the convenience of our citizens portal, but this usage will be optional and this statement will be amended accordingly.
