Proposed Urban Extension to North Houghton Regis Consultation
Land to the north of Houghton Regis, immediately adjacent to Lewsey Farm, Tithe Farm and Parkside Estate between the A5120 and the M1 and contained by the proposed A5-M1 link road has been identified as a preferred location for growth within the emerging Luton and South Bedfordshire Core Strategy to accommodate around 7,000 new homes together with supporting infrastructure such as; jobs, schools, shops, community facilities, transport connections, parks and open space.
The Consortium promoting this development, together with the Luton and South Bedfordshire Joint Committee are considering what form this sustainable urban extension should take.
WE NOW NEED YOUR HELP to help decide what type of place you would like to see developed at Houghton Regis North.
