The Local Development Scheme sets out the documents that are to be prepared in order to manage the housing and employment growth in South Bedfordshire and Luton. The Local development Scheme gives a timetable for the production of these documents and details of how existing plans will be replaced by new ones. It also lists the supporting studies that will ensure that the documents are produced using the best evidence available. On 23rd October 2009, the Joint committee resolved to bring a revised Local Development Scheme into effect. The revised document is available to view using the link below:
