The Local Development Framework (LDF) is the name of the new planning system. Once adopted the LDF will replace the current South Bedfordshire and Luton Local Plans.
Unlike the Local Plan system, the LDF comprises a series of different documents known as Local Development Documents (LDDs). More information on LDF's can be found on the Planning Advisory Service website.
